Coach4life was a challenging project with many stakeholders and high ambitions, to assist people with early stage Kidney malfunction, to change their lifestyle to prevent or prolong the moment to need a kidney dialyse or transplant. Developing the game with a dedicated and motivated group of people who already had a transplant was great, but did not help for the appropriate implementation of this thoroughly developed and co-designed game. Secondly a medical trial to validate the effectiveness delayed the launch of the game. But our hard core test players and community participants, managed to use the game to change their lifestyle, plus their social life included! – she spoke about this on tv.
